All members share ownership of our site and, as long as it does not go against the principles and doesn’t inhibit or disrespect other members or our neighbours, then you are welcome to use the space as you wish.
This also means full use of the communal fridge where we will have drinks, teas, coffees etc available to at the wholesale cost. When considering the monthly membership fee, think about how much would be saved paying supermarket prices for an evening drink or a place to work for a day, compared to at a coffee/bar venue
Memberships
Full Membership -£30 per month
Full membership allows unlimited access to the venue. You can use it as a coworking space, attend all the events, even host your own! Can bring two guests per time.
Casual Membership – £15 Per Month
Not everyone would use the site as regularly, or has different intentions for what they want. Basic Membership allows for upto 4 visits per calendar month (around once per week) for those busy people out there!
Your role as a Member
One important aspect is that we don’t have paid staff – All roles are performed by members volunteering their time. You’re welcome to get involved with the cleaning and tidying roles.
Also any member can organise events and workshops. Have an idea? We could put it on!
Additional items
Guests – £3
Members are allowed to bring up to two guests with them for their visit. The guest pays £3 for the whole day.
Note: Any guests must be signed in and are fully the responsibility of the accompanying member.
Host Pass – £20
If you want to host a meeting or more personal event for people who aren’t currently members you can purchase a host pass. This allows you to bring up to 10 non-members (current registered members don’t count to this limit).
Any hosted attendees must be signed in and are still the responsibility of the host member, and doesn’t count as guest attendance.
Accessible prices
We don’t want pricing to be a boundary for members of the community to be able to join the site, but we are also aware that we have essential costs we need to cover so we are assessing how we can manage this.
Our current option is to provide 1/3rd off membership costs for those who find it a barrier where we can (i.e. Standard Membership @£20, Casual Membership @£10).
Additional Contributions
If you have a little more funds than others in the community then perhaps you could contribute a little more per month. All money received will be reinvested in the club, or used to reduce membership fees.
